Ari Peskoe is the Director of the Electricity Law Initiative at Harvard Law School. His recent paper with co-author Eliza Martin is entitled Extracting Profits from the Public: How Utility Ratepayers Are Paying for Big Tech's Power. The paper explains how utilities are able to force consumers to pay for part of data centers' energy bills.
