Galen Nelson is the Chief Climate Officer at the Massachusetts Clean Energy where he develops relationships with corporates, academia, and international entities to inform new program opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen MassCEC’s awareness among a variety of industry stakeholders. Galen is working to articulate and actualize a “climate corridor” – a multi-faceted, region-specific approach to climatetech economic development across the Commonwealth. Galen serves as a senior advisor across the organization and on MassCEC’s executive team to help shape organizational strategy and direction.
