Second Green AI Summit at Harvard and Boston University Successfully Convened
Dr. Hendrik F. Hamann is a Professor at Stony Brook University and an AI Chief Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory (EBNN). Before, Hendrik worked for 26 years at IBM Research, most recently as the Chief Science Officer, where he was responsible for the development of AI geospatial foundation models. He has authored 260 scientific papers and holds 180 patents. Hendrik has won the 2016 AIP Prize for Industrial Applications of Physics. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and has served as a standing committee member for Geographical and Geospatial Sciences at the National Academies of Sciences.
